HISTORY OF THE ILLIAN
·················· the illians are a strange race, indeed. they are said to be born from water vapor and that they came, specifically, from elejen's tears. the existence of illians were never noted until one was actually seen. they are exceptionally elusive and are masters of disguise. they were first seen around the time the ferus were found, but the illians have been there far longer than the ferus. illians date back almost to the time of the aeries. there has never been any problems from the illians, as they are peace-loving creatures, often associated with the narro. however, they have not been known to colonize and produce any sort of city after masq, a small village that was in densest part of the forest. it was abandoned soon after a raid by the humani. the illians simply roam on their own now.

FEATURES AND APPEARANCE
·················· illians are almost completely transparent, which allows them to disappear into their surroundings. they can choose whether or not to be opaque. however, they can never be one hundred percent invisible. the closest they can be is around twenty or thirty percent.
·················· illians have a natural affinity with water and light. with this, they can create illusions, bending light or refracting water. it is very difficult to see an illian in its true form, which is very much like a narro.
·················· illians, when not in illusion, look like the narro, except illians have longer, narrower ears. they also have elongated incisors, which was believed to merely make the illians seem dangerous. their tongues are also serpent-like, and the illians are also equipped with a set of gills on their neck that only open when they submerge into water.
·················· the skin of an illian is extremely sensitive, especially to dry or cold air. if the skin of the illian is not healthy, then they cannot become transparent.
·················· almost no humanoid ear has heard the illian speak, mostly because it is difficult to find an illian in the first place. they can, indeed, speak, but they can speak any language, if they hear it first. they have almost no problems learning, but they rarely come in contact with anyone of the outside world to learn something other than what they already know.
