I am Jagger Ion Kohana. And I am a mutt. Dirty blood. Abomination. Halfing. I look human enough but it isn't only human blood that I have got running in my veins. I got something else. I've heard god's don't bleed and being a halfing makes me an exception. Halfing... I hate that word. But if you have yet to figure it out, I am part human and part god. My father is nothing special, but an old ally of the old king of the human empire. He was married to a woman of royal blood and looked upon with honor and smiles. Until his human lust got the better of him and he became entranced with my mother, mother of all things, Elejen.
I don't really know the story of how I was born. I don't know if it was like any normal birth or if I sprouted from a plant. All I do know for sure if that I somehow ended up with my father and shortly after he was stoned to death for playing dirty with the gods and basically pissing off his wife. What did they do with me? Well I guess they tried to get rid of me as I was later found in a forest alone without any cover from nature. I don't know what god it was that felt sympathy for me but a spirit found me and protected me from the wilderness.
From then on out I was protected by this spirit. I don't remember much of being really young but I do recall being with her at an older age and trailing her through the forest while she explained things to me. She raised me from there, though kept many answered to my questions to herself. For example, who had sent her to watch over me. That didn't mean I didn't stop asking. To this day, when I see her, I still ask. In any case, she raised me and watched carefully over me until I was of the age of thirteen. Then I was pretty much on my own and fending for myself around the forest, living as she told me. Every so often she was come to me but my opportunities to see her became rarer and rarer with age.
On my own I discovered that my mother's traits did not miss me completely. The blood running in me was capable of healing powers and whenever I got a cut the blood would simply seem to burn over it and before you knew it I'd have a new layer skin. It's helped me to stay alive all these years, for certain.
My life has passed me by in a pointless manner after all of these years. One would think that being a son of a goddess would get you places but that only happens in fairy tales. But I decided to stop waiting and have ventured far out of my forest and into the world around me. True, I have been shunned in most places when some shout halfing but in others I have been followed because of the stories about my heritage. Though, in truth, little know of my existence. I am really only a myth without a name. Many simply mistake me as a human man. And to be honest, I am fine with that. There are few things on my body that claim me as a son of a goddess. But I suppose once you find them, it is unmistakable that I am not a full blooded human.
