The Shroud is Lifted
For generations the Jedi Knights have kept peace in the galaxy. Their numbers have always been strong, and in the absence of the Sith they have only become stronger. Small groups of Dark Siders have been seen, though they have quickly been dispatched or turned back to the Light. Now the Republic faces an Empire that they never thought they would see again. Long thought extinct, the Sith have returned with an Empire that rivals even the mighty Republic.
Arriving from the Unknown Regions, the Sith Empire made a swift and decisive strike against the Republic that had forsaken them. Headed by an extremely powerful Sith Lord, the Emperor has appointed a Council of Lords that carry out his every wish. They lead their forces against the Republic and the Jedi with a swift and righteous fury that only revenge will quell.
Unrest spreads across the Republic as its citizens question whether or not they will be protected from the Sith onslaught. Jedi Knights are sent out to the far reaches of the Republic in order to maintain peace and boost morale against the Sith. Little good though it seems to be doing, the Jedi Council can think of nothing better without joining forces with the Republic military.
Deep in debate, the Jedi Council works to come up with a solution that will work without overstepping their Code. Meanwhile the Sith continue to push ever closer into the Core, crushing systems that resist, and absorbing those that do not. Soon the entire galaxy may fall into the Darkness...
