You know, a name says a lot about a person. Take mine for instance. Makenna Serafina. Translated literally it means "born of fire", "burning one", and "serpent". Say what you will of my parents and our kind, but at least you know they've done at least one thing right. My name fits me perfectly. I am a Ferus after all: born from the fire of faliae with a fire-like attitude to match. The serpent is the venomous, beautiful, cunning, and more often than not most dangerous creature to ever roam the animal kingdom. So there we are. Fires and serpents, both incredibly beautiful, but incredibly vengeful and dangerous as well. Like I said, my name fits me perfectly.
So what is it that you want to know. You must be extremely misguided if you really believe I'm going to pour my heart, history, and soul in this conversation. Oh that's what you thought I was going to do? Awww....how unbelievably cute. You know, in a sickening vomit-inducing type of way.
Fine. This is all you're getting though. For as long as I can remember we've been hunted. Hunted by those sickening creatures called humans. They hunt what they fear. It's understandable actually. We're superior. The best war strategy is to knock out your strongest opponents first. So yes, for as long as I can remember we've been hunted and we've hunted them in return. Humans are...sickening to say the least. The less of them there are, the better. They hunt anything that isn't like them for petty reasons. They do have their uses though. They are quite a bit of fun to play with, if only for brief periods at a time.
I've grown up in the resulting destruction and it's really quite normal for me know. Why promote peace when you can produce chaos? I, like most Ferus, have a bit of a...fire starting problem. I've definitely destroyed my share of homes, villages, people. How else is a girl supposed to have a bit of fun? Anyway, this conversation is officially over. I suggest you leave before you find yourself on my bad side. Trust me, you don't want to be on that side. It can get a bit...hot.
