HISTORY OF THE SPIRITS
·················· shortly after the gods created the world of esune they created the spirits, also called guardians. the spirits usually take the form of an animal and are assigned to do the bidding of the gods, whether that be spying, helping a certain person, finding something or someone, or simply guarding an area. usually spirits do not keep in much contact with any other beings unless assigned too. most are not violent but they are also not usually shy and ready to serve their creators.

FEATURES AND APPEARANCE
·················· like gods, spirits can only be killed by removing their heads.
·················· spirits only take the form of a single animal.
·················· spirits have the ability to blend into the shadows and can manipulate small amounts of light.
·················· all spirits usually set off a light colored glow that is most noticeable during the night time. this is only noticeable when they make themselves present to the average eyes.
